The Suzuki Jimny is a compact off-road vehicle that has always been popular in countries with challenging terrain. The model was initially introduced back in 1970, and now it’s finally available for sale in the US and Canada. This vehicle is not just a truck or a car, but it can also be a very fun toy for those who want to spend some time outdoors. If you live somewhere where there are mountains or highlands, this car will be perfect for you!
The fourth Generation of Suzuki Jimny and Suzuki Jimny Sierra were introduced in 2018.
ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
The Jimny is only available with a simple 102 hp and 130 NM 1.5L petrol, an old-school, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine, which is very robust and prepared for intensive off-road use. It can be mated with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
It’s got an impressive 0-60 mph speed time of 13 seconds, which you can beef up even more with the manual transmission. The Suzuki Jimny comes with great fuel economy, so you can spend more time exploring and less time filling your tank.
Off Roading
Off the road, the Suzuki Jimny offers spectacular performance, with superb climbing ability due to its light weight, weighing less than 1,100 kg. It also has very good approach and departure angles, a great traction capacity and the suspension, very elastic, digests each stone perfectly.
