Aston Martin Valkyrie REVIEW IN CANADA
This is Aston Martin’s first ever hypercar, even though they have had a long history of creating sports cars for the world for decades now. Having come up with models such as the Aston Martin DB11, the Aston Martin Vantage and even, the Aston Martin Vulcan in recent years. This vehicle however, will be something new -because it aims to put out on these roads a car that can match rivals who compete in the Formula 1 circuit or at Le Mans (24 Hour race in France). This means it’ll go head-to-head against giants like Mercedes AMG ONE and Koenigsegg Jesko.
ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
For the manufacturing of the Valkyrie, Multimatic will make its carbon-fiber chassis and Cosworth was chosen to create the V12 engine.
Cosworth has engineered a truly remarkable naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine for the Valkyrie that can produce up to 1,000 horsepower of max power at 10,500 rpm and 740 Newton meters of torque at 7,000 rpm. This 12-cylinder is capable of spinning up to 11,100 revolutions per minute – numbers unheard off in standard street cars and demonstrations of just how powerful this car really is when compared with anything else on the market today.
This isn’t all though; Cosworth engineers are also equipping the vehicle with an advanced KERS system capable of boosting output by another 176 horsepower (280 newton meters) – meaning that its total max power output could potentially reach up to 1,176 horsepower.
Aerodynamics and design play a key role in the production of Aston Martin’s latest flagship product – the highly anticipated Valkyrie. Resembling what you might see at Le Mans, this sleek car features aerodynamic technologies from Formula One racing cars and merges them with an ultramodern style unlike anything we’ve seen before. With carbon-fiber construction for both the chassis and exterior body panels, Aston Martins’ newest endeavor strives to be just as light on earth as it will be once it takes flight.
The interior of the Aston Martin Valkyrie is designed with racecar-level attention to detail, from its cockpit-style steering wheel down to the digital instruments built right into an OLED display. And although it’s comfortable enough for daily driving, there are still traces of that hardcore focus on performance, such as covered surfaces and sculpted seats tailored specifically for drivers who want every millimeter in their vehicle optimized for elite handling.
As you’ve probably noticed, the Aston Martin Valkyrie doesn’t have mirrors. Instead, they’ve installed cameras that project what’s behind on two screens located on either side of the car.
Aston Martin Valkyrie VERDICT
When most people think of supercars, they envision shiny exteriors, highly luxurious interiors, and outrageous speed capabilities. However, Aston Martin Valkyrie takes the concept of supercars to the next level, making it one of the most anticipated cars of all time. It’s not just about speed and lavishness anymore; it’s about performance and design at an entirely new level.
