Aston Martin DB11 REVIEW IN CANADA
The Aston Martin DB11 is a Grand Tourer from the British company, built for drivers who wants performance and luxury. The first generation was released in 2017, after being modeled after the hugely successful DB9 – one of many cars that made this company famous for its style. This car has similar features to the DBS Superleggera, yet it still manages to keep some distance between these two very different models.

ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
Aston Martin’s new DB11 comes equipped with two engines, a large 5.2-litre V12 Twin-Turbo engine with 608 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque–the first ever fully developed by Aston Martin-and a 4.0-litre V8 Twin-Turbo and 510 horsepower borrowed from Mercedes-AMG and featured in other models like the Mercedes-AMG GT.

Both feature an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which was first introduced on the Aston Martin Vanquish before being adapted for use in other areas where it hasn’t been seen yet by the British manufacturer, such as its Start/Stop system or cylinder deactivation which allows you to cruise using four or six cylinders depending on what engine you’re running this beauty off of.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
At the design level, the new Aston Martin DB11 offers an evolution with respect to what is already known in Aston Martin; moreover, it offers a freshness that brings back memories of past Aston Martins (such as the DB10 and the DBX). Packing LEDs everywhere you can see them, from taillights to side markers – the sleek new Aston Martin DB11 has personality and character.

This sleek beauty is also engineered for maximum efficiency; at least when it comes to aerodynamics. There aren’t spoilers or wings built into this car – but rather hidden elements working together like AeroBlade. There a subtle rear spoiler built into the end of each C-pillar.
INTERIOR

Inside, its new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel developed in collaboration with Daimler stands out. Meanwhile, a second 8-inch LCD screen has been placed in the center console to control all comfort and infotainment functions. Just by looking at the central control of the multimedia system – you can tell that navigation is done through a similar controller found in many Mercedes Benz models. It makes sense for British brand too; after all, the cabin exudes luxury—almost every inch covered with impeccable leather or Alcantara softness while decorative trims are available in various types of wood, aluminum or carbon fiber. All this assembled by skilled hands who take care of even the smallest details with an eye for detail—the way true Aston Martin craftsmen do it
